By accessing or using northidahoroadcams.com (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What the Site Provides
The Site aggregates publicly available traffic-camera images and weather information from agencies including the Idaho Transportation Department, Washington State DOT, Montana DOT, and the National Weather Service. We present these feeds for the convenience of drivers and travelers in North Idaho and surrounding areas.
Not for Safety-Critical Use
The Site is provided for informational purposes only. Camera images may be delayed, out of date, missing, or inaccurate. Weather data may be delayed or wrong. Road conditions can change rapidly. Do not rely on this Site as your sole source of information when making driving, travel, or safety decisions. Always check official sources, drive according to current conditions, and follow the directions of law enforcement and transportation authorities.
No Warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, North Idaho Road Cams and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Camera Feeds and Third-Party Content
Camera images and weather data are owned by their respective agencies. We do not host these feeds; we embed them from public sources. Trademarks, agency names, and other identifiers belong to their respective owners. Use of the Site does not grant you any rights to those materials beyond those granted by the source agencies themselves.
Advertisements and Affiliate Links
The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and affiliate links to products on Amazon and other retailers. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. We do not endorse every advertised product and we are not responsible for the content, quality, or fulfillment of items purchased through external links.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose;
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's normal operation, including by sending automated traffic intended to disrupt service;
- Scrape, mass-download, or republish content from the Site without our written permission;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Site beyond what is publicly available in our open-source repository.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Kootenai County, Idaho.
